I wish I knew then what I know now

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you, and wonder what it would have been like if I had not been selfish in my decision. I was scared. Planned Parenthood told me that you were just a fetus. I love you, and this year you would have been(…)

3 Babies taken

I was only a child, raped and pregnant. My abuser saw the signs and took them from me. It was a time in the mid 1960’s. I was 9, 11, and 13 years old. Didn’t know what was going on the first two times but at 13 I begged, pleaded but to no avail. My(…)

At the Cross

Jesuit paid it all, all to Him I owe! My baby, Erin Peterson, went to be with the Lord because I didn’t want to know or appreciate what He did at the cross for me. I shunned it and went deeper and deeper into sin until there was so much darkness I couldn’t see my(…)

My angel daughter…you should be 21 now. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you, and wonder what kind of person you would have been. Your dad and I love you, and we will always miss you.

God Bless My Baby

no mother has ever looked back on this time and thought, “I wish I had held my baby less.” You will not remember the dishes that didn’t get done, the vacuuming that you just couldn’t make happen, or the dirty clothes you wore more often than you’d like to admit. You will remember the first(…)
